MENTORING
OUR YOUTH OF TODAY
TO BECOME LEADERS OF
TOMORROW
ABOUT
PIC is a leadership, employability, and mentoring program provided for teens ages 13-18. Life skill training, including financial literacy, employment, and educational development, coupled with mentoring, provides youth with a foundation for future success. Participants met monthly as a group, in teams, and also individually with mentors. Field trips to college campuses or to explore the trade in military service, help to develop leaders of tomorrow.

Mentors
Professionals, from all walks of life, who have been background checked with the Florida Department of Children and Youth, are assigned to spend one-on-one quality time in the life of participants. Sometimes, just knowing that there is someone there for you, that hears and sees you, makes all the difference in the life of a teen.
Sessions
Individual, teams, and group sessions relating to leadership, employability, and accountability. Work sessions led by community leaders foster positive learning enviornments.
Field Trips
Trips are designed to introduce youth to areas they would not traditionally have an opportunity to engage in. Hitting the campus of a variety of colleges, exploring a variety of career options, opens new windows of opportunity for the future.
